Job summary

SCG is seeking a Production and Process Engineer in Bekasi, Indonesia, to optimize production processes and drive efficiency across the manufacturing facility. You will collaborate with production, maintenance, quality control, and safety teams to achieve operational excellence and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

You will develop SOPs, monitor KPIs, troubleshoot issues, and lead root cause analyses while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in chemical/industrial/mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience in process engineering in manufacturing, preferably gypsum.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement process improvement strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization.
• Conduct regular process audits to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with production teams to develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process efficiency and identify bottlenecks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted production.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations for process deviations or failures and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Provide technical support and training to production staff to enhance their understanding of process parameters and best practices.
• Collaborate with equipment vendors and suppliers to evaluate new technologies and equipment for process improvement.
