Job summary

Rohto Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Indonesia is seeking a Product Specialist in ophthalmology to develop strategic positioning for Intraocular Lens products and communicate key messages to healthcare professionals.

You will conduct market research, monitor industry trends, and support launches with cross-functional collaboration. The role includes delivering product presentations, training sales teams, and assisting in business and marketing plan development to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or Pharmacy with GPA ≥ 3.00.
• Minimum 2 years as a Product Specialist in ophthalmology, preferably in intraocular lenses (IOL).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Proficient in computer literacy.
• Familiarity with New Product Development (NPD) processes and product lifecycle management.
• Ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals, internal teams, and external partners.

Conduct market research and monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to support marketing strategies

Deliver product presentations and provide product knowledge to healthcare professionals during promotional activities, seminars, workshops, and scientific events

Conduct product training for Medical Marketing Representatives and Marketing Executives to ensure comprehensive product knowledge and effective product promotion

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop marketing materials and support new product launches in accordance with project timelines

Develop and implement Business Plans and Marketing Plans to achieve sales and marketing objectives

Support product lifecycle management by analyzing market performance and identifying opportunities for business growth

Up-to-Date with product knowledge, policies, and processes to provide accurate and relevant information to customers

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Biology or Pharmacy, with a minimum GPA of 3.00

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Product Specialist in the ophthalmology field, preferably in intraocular lenses (IOL)

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, internal teams, and external partners

Proven experience in product management, brand development, marketing strategy, market research, and product launch execution

Familiarity with New Product Development (NPD) processes and product lifecycle management
