Job summary

Sun Life is seeking a Pricing Lead to drive development of new product initiatives and support the Head of Pricing on related adhoc activities. The role requires capacity to manage a pricing team, understand actuarial cashflows and translate results into business recommendations.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science and 4–7 years pricing experience, with actuarial exam certifications preferred. Proficiency in Excel/AXIS and strong English communication are essential.

• Pricing Lead will be responsible for managing the development of new product initiatives and assisting Head of Pricing in any adhocs related to product.

• Proficient in Excel, VBA Macro, AXIS
• Understand different types of products and profit drivers
• Have deep understanding of actuarial cashflows and able to quickly connect changes in assumptions with impact to profitability
• Understand the different needs of distribution
• Able to manage and lead a team of pricing analysts
• Able to communicate actuarial results and translate to recommended business decision
• Good communication skill (verbal and written) in English
