Job summary

Mekari is seeking a proactive Product Operation Intern for our Next Level Internship program, ideal for someone with a coding background and a passion for solving problems through technology. The intern will assist in identifying non-optimal processes within the product development lifecycle and explore automation to boost efficiency.

You will collaborate with senior team members, research low-code platforms, and create scripts or integrations when off-the-shelf solutions aren’t available.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Basic understanding of software development processes and lifecycle.
• Strong coding skills in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar).
• Experience or familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Zapier, Airtable, Power Automate, n8n, Cassidy or similar).
• Knowledge of APIs, database systems, and integrations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior members of the Product Operations team to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in current product development workflows.
• Research and evaluate low-code/no-code platforms and existing automation tools to improve processes.
• Leverage coding skills to create custom scripts, integrations, or tools when off-the-shelf solutions are not available or suitable.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Manager, Product Operations, and Product Marketing to understand pain points and requirements.
• Monitor the performance of implemented solutions and iterate based on feedback and usage metrics.
