Job summary

Gently in Indonesia seeks a Product Development Supervisor to lead NPD, renovations, and innovation from concept to launch, ensuring timelines and quality. You’ll coordinate samples, testing, and documentation while aligning with business goals.

You will work with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, review artworks and claims, and help implement SOPs in a fast-paced environment. Strong coordination and proactive communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.
• Minimum 2 years in Product Development/R&D/Innovation in FMCG, personal care, cosmetics.
• Experience managing projects from concept to commercialization.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (BPOM, Halal) and product claims.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPD, renovation, export support, and innovation projects from concept to launch.
• Coordinate sample development, user panel testing, stability testing, and documentation.
• Monitor timelines and follow up with stakeholders.
• Prepare development reports and project documentation.
• Review artworks, claims, and supporting information as assigned.
• Support SOP implementation and process improvement.
• Escalate project risks and delays to management.

About the Role

As a Product Development Supervisor, you will lead and execute product development projects from concept to launch, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and project objectives are met. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, oversee product testing and documentation, and drive innovation to deliver high-quality products that meet consumer needs and business goals.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, Biotechnology, or other related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Product Development, R&D, Innovation, Technical Project Management, or related functions within FMCG, Personal Care, and Cosmetics industries.
• Proven experience managing product development projects from concept to commercialization.
• Experience coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Good project coordination and follow-up skills.
• Ability to review product artworks, claims, and product information with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with BPOM, Halal, product claims, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and execution excellence.

• Support SOP implementation and process improvement activities.
• Escalate project risks and delays to Assistant Manager and Junior Manager.
