Job summary

Sun Life Financial is seeking a senior data analytics professional to lead dashboard development and data-driven insights in support of Bancassurance partnerships. You will coordinate with analytics, marketing, and reporting teams to optimize lead nurturing and digital sales campaigns.

The role requires 8–10 years in financial services analytics, strong collaboration with cross-functional partners, and a results-driven approach to drive performance and growth within the Bancassurance channel.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, Statistics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8–10 years’ experience in bancassurance, financial services, sales analytics, reporting, or digital sales initiatives.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners is preferred.

• Analyze results to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for Bancassurance performance.
• Collaborate with Bank Partner and Sun Life data analytics teams on data-driven initiatives.
• Manage end-to-end lead nurturing with Data Analytics, Marketing and Reporting teams.
• Act as Project Manager for operational improvement initiatives, including the Orphan Customers project.
• Lead go-to-market initiatives for digital sales campaigns to hit product sales targets.

Job Description

• Lead the development of dashboards, tableau reports, working closely with Reporting and Data Enablement Team to automate reporting and deliver timely, accurate and actionable business insights.
• Generate data-driven insights to strengthen Bancassurance Bank Partner's performance by analyzing results, identifying trends, gaps, opportunities, and improvement areas, and recommending strategic actions to the Chief Partnership Distribution or Head of Strategic Partnership.
• Manage data analytics initiatives in collaboration with Bank Partner and Sun Life data analytics teams, including leveraging existing data to develop look-alike models for new product promotion, cross-sell and up-sell initiatives, and deeper understanding of Bancassurance Advisor and Relationship Manager profiles.
• Lead end-to-end leads nurturing initiatives by coordinating with the Data Analytics, Marketing, and Reporting teams to define lead criteria, design multi-channel lead nudges, and monitor success rates through effective performance tracking.
• Act as Project Manager for operational improvement initiatives, including the Orphan Customers project.
• Lead go-to-market initiatives for digital sales, including campaigns and other targeted activities to drive achievement of digital product sales targets.

Preferred skills

• Strong understanding of Bancassurance business, sales performance drivers, lead management, and partnership distribution models.
• Working knowledge of data analytics, dashboard development, reporting automation, Tableau or similar business intelligence tools, and performance tracking.
• Ability to interpret trends, identify business gaps and opportunities, and develop insights to support sales improvement, cross-sell, up-sell, and digital sales initiatives.
• Project management capability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving data analytics, marketing, reporting, operations, and business teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, Statistics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in bancassurance, financial services, sales performance management, business analytics, reporting, project management, or digital sales initiatives with minimal 8-10 years’ experience.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners is preferred, particularly in initiatives involving data analytics, marketing campaigns, operational improvement, and customer engagement.
