Job summary

You will manage sourcing to invoice reconciliation, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure regulatory compliance including BPOM and narcotics reporting, while maintaining cold-chain standards.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree with STRA and eligibility for SIPA.
• At least 3 years' experience in pharmaceutical or medical procurement.
• Oncology exposure is a strong plus.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian pharmaceutical regulations.
• Excellent negotiation, numeracy, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable collaborating with regional stakeholders remotely.

Responsibilities

Job description

A new specialist cancer care facility in Bali is looking for a pharmacist with a strong business & procurement mindset to own the sourcing of medicines and clinical consumables. This role sits at the heart of how we keep patient care running safely, timely, reliably, and cost-effectively, and reports directly to our regional team in Singapore.

What you'll do

Manage end-to-end procurement of pharmaceuticals (including oncology, cytotoxic, and controlled medicines) and medical consumables, from sourcing and quotation to purchase order, delivery, and invoice reconciliation.

Build and maintain relationships with principals, distributors, and PBFs; negotiate pricing, terms, and service levels.

Plan demand and stock levels with the clinical and pharmacy teams to prevent shortages, overstock, and expiry losses.

Ensure all purchasing complies with Indonesian regulations (BPOM, Ministry of Health, narcotics and psychotropics reporting) and internal policies, including cold-chain and hazardous-drug handling requirements.

Evaluate new products and suppliers, and support formulary and product standardisation decisions.

Track spend, savings, and supplier performance, and report regularly to the regional office.

Keep procurement documentation, contracts, and supplier files audit-ready.

What you bring

Professional Degree in Pharmacy (Profesi Apoteker + S1 Farmasi), plus an active STRA (and eligibility for SIPA).

At least 3 years' experience in pharmaceutical or medical procurement, ideally in a hospital, clinic network, or healthcare distributor. Oncology exposure is a strong plus.

Solid knowledge of Indonesian pharmaceutical regulations and the local supplier landscape.

Confident negotiator with good numeracy and attention to detail.

Comfortable working with a regional stakeholder remotely and in a fast-growing, newly established setting.

Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.
