Job summary

PT Tsubaki Indonesia Manufacturing in Karawang, West Java, is seeking a Procurement Engineer Staff to optimize our supply chain and ensure seamless procurement of materials for manufacturing excellence. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
3–5 years of procurement, supply chain or materials engineering experience in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of materials, components and manufacturing processes for automotive or machinery.
Experience with supplier quality management and vendor evaluation.
Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in English and Indonesian, written and spoken.
Experience with procurement software and MS Office.
Knowledge of cost management and inventory control.

Responsibilities

Analyze engineering specs and translate into procurement requirements and sourcing strategies.
Develop and maintain supplier relationships; evaluate performance on quality, delivery, and cost metrics.
Conduct market research and feasibility studies for sourcing solutions and new suppliers.
Collaborate with engineering and operations to understand material requirements and lead times.
Prepare RFQs; negotiate contracts and terms to achieve competitive pricing.
Monitor supply chain risks and develop contingency plans for continuity.
Maintain procurement records and data systems for audit and reporting.
