Daimler Truck Indonesia is seeking a Procurement Assistant Manager to lead localization and sourcing initiatives. Based in Indonesia, you will manage material costs, supplier relations, and governance, delivering strategic procurement outcomes for our DCVMI operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
• 5–7 years experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably automotive.
• Negotiation skills and product knowledge in automotive purchasing processes & systems.
• Knowledge of local content regulations and import taxes & duties.
• Fluent in English; multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, SMK3 and Eco Industry.

QUALIFICATION

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Equivalent
• Minimum 5-7 years relevant work experience in procurement /purchasing related functions (preferably in automotive industry).
• Preferred added advantages: Negotiation skills, product knowledge on automotive vehicles and knowledge in automotive purchasing processes & systems.
• Knowledge in local content regulations, applicable domestic and import taxes & duties.
• English language written and spoken fluently, Multi-linguistic abilities would be an added advantage.
• Should be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly.
• Possesses negotiation skills, product knowledge on automotive vehicles and knowledge in automotive purchasing processes & systems
• Knowledge in local content regulations, applicable domestic and import taxes & duties
• Proficient in various IT tools and application, especially MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• Basic knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, SMK3 and Eco Industry
