Job summary

Hempel Paints Kuwait Company W.L.L. is looking for a Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Bekasi.

You will assist the Factory Manager, drive KPI improvements, and lead process enhancements covering safety, quality, cost and delivery while pushing continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with R&D and tech staff to optimize production, initiate new solutions for efficiency, and ensure adherence to product quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree holder preferably in chemical engineering or chemistry or industrial engineering
• Min 3 to 5 years of experience
• Chemical or paint processing experience preferred
• Read, write and speak good local language
• Read, write and speak simple English
• Computer literate
• Preferable understood pint and coating industry

Responsibilities

• Assist and advise Factory Manager in driving operational and Plant KPI Continuous Improvement Champion for the plant
• Drive process and project improvement relating to Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery
• Lead Fund to Growth (Cost Saving initiatives) for the plant
• Initiate and implement new solutions for process efficiency
• Lead the production and process for new product introduction
• Collaboration with production SPV to managing production in optimum ways
• Lead and manage all Continuous Improvement and 6S initiatives / projects
