Formulatrix Indonesia is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize and configure industrial processes from inception to startup and certification. The role is based in Central Java and supports manufacturing efficiency, cost control, and quality improvements.

You will review designs for manufacturability, develop BOMs, and lead PFMEA/DFMEA activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams. A diploma in mechanical/industrial engineering is required, with experience in process simulations

Qualificações

• Minimum Diploma (D3/D4) in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience in process simulations and Kaizen, lean manufacturing, PFMEA, and PDCA.
• Understanding of new product development processes.
• Ability to analyze statistical data.
• Knowledge of process-related standards and health-safety regulations.
• Working knowledge of process engineering software.

Overview roles

As a Process Engineer at PT Formulatrix Indonesia, you will play a pivotal role in optimising the company's manufacturing processes to ensure efficient, high-quality production. This full-time position is based in Central Java, where you will contribute your expertise to the company's strategic goals within the Engineering and Process Engineering functions.

Job Description:

Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through startup and certification.

Assess and evaluate production processes by taking accurate measurements and interpreting data.

Design and implement innovative processes, systems, and solutions to enhance production rates and output quality.

Manage the introduction of new products and processes into the production environment for mass production.

Maintain and reduce production costs and time constraints to ensure efficient operations.

Perform risk assessments to identify potential failures in the production process through PFMEA/DFMEA.

Review design for manufacturability (ease of assembly), 2D Review, 3D Review, develop BOM, assembly chronology, and prepare standard work instructions.

Requirement:

Education

Minimum Diploma (D3/D4) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field

Experience

Experience in process simulations and various manufacturing systems and improvements such as Kaizen, lean manufacturing, PFMEA, and PDCA.

Technical Skills

Have an understanding of new product development processes.

Have the ability to analyze statistical data.

Have the ability to use CAD/CAM (Experience with Solidworks or Onshape is a plus).

Have knowledge of process-related standards and health-safety regulations.

Have a working knowledge of using process engineering software.

Soft Skills

Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.

Good communication skills in English, both oral and written.

Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
