Job summary

PT. Formulatrix Indonesia in Salatiga, Central Java, specializes in high-precision robotic systems for drug discovery. We are seeking a senior mechanical/mechatronics engineer to lead design and manufacturing initiatives across machining and fabrication processes.

You will prototype, evaluate, and iterate components, manage project milestones, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust products. Fluency in English and strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma with heavy focus on mechanical/mechatronics and related field.
• At least 5 years of design and manufacturing experience (machining and fabrication).
• Ability to use CAD/CAM tools; SolidWorks or Onshape is a plus.
• Ability to operate CNC machines and oversee production processes.
• Experience with DFMEA/PFMEA and mechanical design improvements.
• Strong design, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership and conflict resolution abilities.
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; readiness to relocate to Salatiga or Semarang as needed.

Job Descriptions

• Conducting research and analysis to create the concept of new products.

Requirements

• Candidates must possess at least a Diploma's degree with a heavy focus on mechanical/mechatronics.
• At least 5 years of working experience in design and manufacturing process (machining and fabrication).
• Have the ability of using CAD/CAM (SolidWorks or Onshape is a plus).
• Have the ability of operating CNC machine.
• Have expertise of mechanical engineering especially in Kinematics / Precise and Moving parts assembly / Special Purpose Machine or Small - mechanism design.
• Have the ability to participate in DFMEAs and support PFMEAs.
• Have a good Design improvement, trials, and root-cause analysis.
• Accurate, attention to detail, tactful, and a fast learner is a must.
• Have a good interpersonal, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
• Have a superb creativity, logic, vision, and problem-solving skills.
• Have a good communication skill in English both oral and written.
• Have the ability to work individually and in a team
• Willing to work in Salatiga or Semarang according to the project needs.
