Job summary

PT Evonik Indonesia is seeking a Process Engineer to join our Cikarang production team. You will troubleshoot and optimize processes, support expatriate process experts, and help ensure product quality and plant safety.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, 5+ years in chemical plants, and fluency in English and Bahasa. Proficiency with drawing software (AutoCAD) is preferred, along with strong teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical plants.
• Strong background in process and mechanical engineering.
• Excellent communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and optimize production processes and support the production team and projects.
• Assist expatriate process experts with data monitoring and process optimization.
• Review and update plant documentation and drawings regularly.
• Coordinate process parameter optimization and batch programs to ensure product quality and capacity.
• Support equipment selection and installation with other disciplines; participate in acceptance tests.
• Assist start-up of plant/projects and ensure compliance with IP-protection rules.
