Job summary
Pt Hyosung Jakarta is seeking a Senior Chemical Engineer with a focus on Process Development to join our Bogor, West Java team. You will lead design and scale-up of novel chemical processes from concept through pilot plant to full-scale implementation.
The ideal candidate has 8+ years in chemical process development, strong expertise in reaction engineering, separation processes, and process control, and hands-on experience with process modeling tools.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in chemical process development and scale-up.
- Proven track record in leading complex engineering projects.
- Expertise in reaction engineering, separation processes, and process control.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience with process modeling tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and scale-up of new chemical processes from laboratory to commercial scale.
- Design and execute pilot plant trials to validate process parameters.
- Conduct techno-economic evaluations for new process concepts.
- Develop detailed process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
- Provide technical support for the transfer of technology to manufacturing sites.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's technical expertise.
