Job summary

Mo' Bettahs is seeking a Prep/Back of House team member to support fast-paced, casual dining operations. You will help prepare food, keep the kitchen tidy, and follow company procedures to ensure quality and safety. Training is available for eager learners and growth opportunities exist within the team.

Qualified candidates are friendly, flexible, collaborative, and ready to start early mornings. A minimum age of 16 and US work authorization are required, with some kitchen experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Restaurant experience preferred
• Early Availability, usually 6:00 am start time

Our ideal candidate is friendly, flexible, and ready to collaborate and work alongside other team members to prepare food and maintain a tidy work area and kitchen; all while meeting company standards and following operational procedures. Responsibilities include preparing food, washing dishes, knowing proper handling of food and kitchen policies, and other required and necessary duties to keep the operation running smoothly.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Position requires qualified individuals to be able to see, hear and speak (verbally and audibly). Required to ascend and descend stairs; sit and stand for extended periods of time, be able to lift up to 30 pounds, bend, stoop and kneel. May be required to work outside in various weather conditions. May be required to work on a computer for extended periods of time, including viewing the screen, using a mouse, manipulating a keyboard with hands, and reaching with arms. May be asked to drive or travel by car, air, or other transportation for business purposes. Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced working environment. Must be able to report to work responsive, free from sedatives, and in a non-sedative state. Must disclose prescribed and/or over-the-counter pharmaceuticals that may impair or affect the ability to perform the job's essential functions. Natural and regular stressors occur on the job.
