Job summary

PT Amtra Electric in Indonesia is seeking an experienced PPIC Supervisor to oversee production planning, materials, and inventory control. You will develop the production schedule to meet customer orders and respect factory capacity, coordinating with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, and Production to set priorities.

The role requires leadership, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English. You will implement and support 5S, Kaizen, and ISO 9001 standards, ensuring efficient manufacturing

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Min 3 years in PPIC SPV, preferably in electrical/transformer manufacturing.
• Proficient in production planning, MRP, and inventory control.
• Strong Excel and ERP/PPIC system skills (SAP, Odoo, etc.).
• Good English written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor the production schedule based on orders and factory capacity.
• Ensure the availability of raw materials and main components according to production requirements.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, and Production teams to determine priorities and work schedules.
• Monitor production progress and ensure timely completion of all projects.
• Prepare regular reports on production progress, material availability, and material usage efficiency.
• Optimize the PPIC system and support the implementation of 5S, Kaizen, and ISO 9001 standards in the workplace.

Job description

As a PPIC Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning and controlling production processes, materials, and inventory, ensuring that all manufacturing activities run efficiently, effectively, and in line with company targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor the production schedule based on customer orders and factory capacity.
• Ensure the availability of raw materials and main components (core, coil, winding, oil, tank, etc.) according to production requirements.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, and Production teams to determine priorities and work schedules.
• Monitor production progress and ensure timely completion of all projects.
• Prepare regular reports on production progress, material availability, and material usage efficiency.
• Optimize the PPIC system and support the implementation of 5S, Kaizen, and ISO 9001 standards in the workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum education Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Operations Management.
• At least 3 years of experience in a PPIC SPV position, preferably in the electrical or transformer manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in production planning, MRP, and inventory control.
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel and ERP/PPIC systems (SAP, Odoo, etc.).
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.Detail-oriented, able to work under pressure, and possess strong leadership abilities.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
