Job summary

PT Gandum Mas Kencana is seeking a seasoned PPIC professional to lead production planning and scheduling for our bakery nourishment operations. The role focuses on aligning demand with capacity, managing inventory across RMPM, WIP, and FG, and driving efficiency with Lean principles.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in PPIC/SC in manufacturing, strong ERP/MRP experience, and excellent data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, SCM, Logistics, Management or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in PPIC, production planning, or supply chain
• Proven experience in production planning and scheduling
• Strong understanding of inventory management (RMPM, WIP, FG)
• Experience in demand forecasting and inventory analysis
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and familiar with manufacturing tech/tools
• Lean Manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; data-oriented reporting
• Strong communication, coordination, and leadership, across departments
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Management, or a related field from reputable university.

Minimum 5 years of experience in PPIC, Production Planning, or Supply Chain, preferably in a manufacturing/FMCG environment.

Proven experience in production planning and scheduling, both short-term and long-term.

Strong understanding of inventory management, including RMPM, WIP, and Finished Goods.

Experienced in demand forecasting, inventory analysis, and buffer stock calculation.

Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and familiar with manufacturing technologies and production planning tools.

Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and their application to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret production, inventory, and demand data.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with data and reports.

Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Job Descriptions

Develop and manage short-term and long-term production planning and scheduling to ensure production targets are achieved according to demand, capacity, and business requirements.

Monitor and manage inventory levels of Raw Materials & Packaging Materials (RMPM), Work in Process (WIP), and Finished Goods (FG) to maintain optimal stock availability, determine appropriate buffer stock levels, prevent stockouts, and minimize inventory holding costs.

Conduct demand forecasting and analysis based on historical data, sales forecasts, inventory levels, and business requirements to support effective production planning.

Utilize and optimize ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing technologies to support production planning, material requirements planning, inventory monitoring, and data analysis.

Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to identify process inefficiencies, reduce waste, optimize resources, and improve overall production planning and inventory management.

Analyze production, inventory, and demand-related data to provide accurate reports and actionable insights for operational and management decision-making.

Establish effective coordination and communication with Production, Warehouse, Procurement, Sales, Quality, and other relevant departments to ensure alignment of production plans and material availability.

Lead, supervise, and develop the PPIC team, ensuring effective execution of planning activities and achievement of departmental targets.
