Job summary

PT. Huabao Food Technology Indonesia is hiring a PPIC specialist to transform forecasts into actionable production plans. You will run MRP, manage BOMs and safety stock, and work closely with Production, Purchasing, and Warehouse to ensure timely batch scheduling and stock integrity.

The role requires 3–5 years in PPIC/Production Planning within FMCG or food flavors, strong Excel skills, and ERP expertise. Collaboration across functions is essential to maintain service levels and inventory

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in PPIC / Production Planning (preferably FMCG, food, flavor industries).
  • Strong understanding of MRP, BOM, routing, standard batch size, safety stock, reorder point, and inventory control principles.
  • Good knowledge of warehouse and inventory management concepts (FIFO, FEFO, ITO, slow-moving items, dead stock, expiry management).
  • Capable of demand vs. supply analysis, capacity planning, and inventory projection.

Responsibilities

  • Translate customer forecasts and sales orders into weekly/monthly production plans.

  • Coordinate with production team for batch scheduling.
  • Issue Purchase Requests (PR) and Production Orders (WO/Batch Sheet).
  • Monitor production progress and adjust planning due to priority changes or machine breakdowns.
  • Prepare demand vs supply analysis and inventory projections.
  • Analyze slow-moving and near-expiry stock and coordinate with warehouse for material availability.
  • Improve planning accuracy and service levels.
  • Conduct stock opname with Purchasing and Warehouse.

  • Translate customer forecasts & sales orders into weekly/monthly production plans.

  • Run MRP to calculate raw material and packaging requirementsand keep healthy stock level.

  • Coordinate with production team for batch scheduling.

  • Issue Purchase Request (PR)

  • Issue Production Orders (WO/Batch Sheet).

  • Monitor production progress and adjust planning due to priority change or machine breakdown.

  • Prepare demand vs supply analysis and inventory projection.

  • Analyze slow-moving & near-expiry stock.

  • Coordinate with warehouse for material availability.

  • Conduct Stock Opname together with Purchasing and Warehouse.


Requirement:


  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field.

  • Minimum 3-5years of experience in PPIC / Production Planning (preferably in FMCG, food, flavor industries).

  • Strong understanding of MRP (Material Requirement Planning), Bill of Materials (BOM), routing, standard batch size, safety stock, reorder point, and inventory control principles.

  • Good knowledge of warehouse and inventory management concepts such as FIFO, FEFO, Inventory Turnover (ITO), slow-moving items, dead stock, and expiry management.

  • Capable of performing demand vs. supply analysis, capacity planning, and inventory projection.

  • Experienced in analyzing forecast fluctuations and monitoring service levels.

  • Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, lookup functions, and basic forecasting analysis).

  • Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and good problem-solving capability.

  • Able to work cross-functionally with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Sales teams.

  • Demonstrates strong sense of urgency and ability to reprioritize planning due to demand changes or production constraints.
