PPIC (Production Planning and Inventory Control)
- Translate customer forecasts & sales orders into weekly/monthly production plans.
- Run MRP to calculate raw material and packaging requirementsand keep healthy stock level.
- Coordinate with production team for batch scheduling.
- Issue Purchase Request (PR)
- Issue Production Orders (WO/Batch Sheet).
- Monitor production progress and adjust planning due to priority change or machine breakdown.
- Prepare demand vs supply analysis and inventory projection.
- Analyze slow-moving & near-expiry stock.
- Coordinate with warehouse for material availability.
- Improve planning accuracy and service level.
- Conduct Stock Opname together with Purchasing and Warehouse.
Requirement:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5years of experience in PPIC / Production Planning (preferably in FMCG, food, flavor industries).
- Strong understanding of MRP (Material Requirement Planning), Bill of Materials (BOM), routing, standard batch size, safety stock, reorder point, and inventory control principles.
- Good knowledge of warehouse and inventory management concepts such as FIFO, FEFO, Inventory Turnover (ITO), slow-moving items, dead stock, and expiry management.
- Capable of performing demand vs. supply analysis, capacity planning, and inventory projection.
- Experienced in analyzing forecast fluctuations and monitoring service levels.
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, lookup functions, and basic forecasting analysis).
- Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and good problem-solving capability.
- Able to work cross-functionally with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Sales teams.
- Demonstrates strong sense of urgency and ability to reprioritize planning due to demand changes or production constraints.
