Our client, a Plantation (Palm Oil Refinery) Company, is seeking a Workshop Manager to lead production planning and scheduling across Palm Oil products, including RBD Palm Oil, Olein, Stearin and Specialty Fats.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related fields, 10+ years in production planning and refinery processes, 3+ years as PPIC Manager, strong English, and experience with ERP/MRP systems (preferably SAP).

Job Responsibilities:
Develop short-, mid-, and long-term production plans based on demand forecasts, plant capacity, and raw material availability.
Prepare and control daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for RBD Palm Oil, Olein, Stearin, Specialty Fats, and other products.
Translate sales forecasts and customer orders into production and material plans while adjusting schedules based on changes in demand.
Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Warehouse, and Operations to ensure supply and demand are properly aligned.
Manage and optimize raw material, WIP, packaging, and finished goods inventory while minimizing excess stock and working capital.
Plan material requirements for crude/refined palm oil, additives, chemicals, and packaging materials, ensuring timely availability for continuous operations.
Monitor production output against plans, analyze variances, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and throughput.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield improvement, cycle time reduction, loss reduction, and overall production efficiency.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Business English proficiency to communicate technical matters with foreigners.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a PPIC Manager in a palm oil refinery.
At least 10 years of experience handling production planning, inventory control, forecasting, capacity planning, and refinery or tank-based production processes.
Experienced in a large-scale company with large-scale manufacturing operations and a high number of SKUs.
Familiar with ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP.
Strategic, analytical, proactive, detail-oriented, decisive, adaptable, and strong in leadership and execution.
