Job summary

Japfa is seeking a Farm Operations Manager for the Lengkong henhouse site. You will oversee daily agricultural operations, staff supervision, and adherence to company policies to maximize production and welfare.

The role requires hands-on leadership in a large poultry facility and collaboration with veterinarians, nutritionists, and logistics teams. Responsibilities include health monitoring, biosecurity enforcement, data tracking, and continuous improvement reporting to optimize flock

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Husbandry, Poultry Science, Agriculture, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in commercial poultry farming, with at least 1 year supervisory/managerial experience.
• Strong understanding of poultry health, nutrition and welfare.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the commercial henhouse (feeding, watering, lighting, ventilation, litter).
• Monitor chicken health and welfare; implement preventive measures under veterinary guidance.
• Supervise and train farm staff; enforce SOPs and safety protocols.
