Job summary

Japfa is seeking a hands-on Farm Operator to perform and lead daily Parent Stock activities, following SOPs and instructions. You will monitor flock condition, feeding, egg collection, mortality, and hygiene, ensuring biosecurity and animal welfare.

You will guide operators and junior staff, report abnormalities, and record daily production data, while supporting improvement actions and best practices at farm level.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead daily Parent Stock farm activities following SOPs and work instructions.
• Monitor flock condition and operational parameters including feeding, egg collection, mortality, and hygiene.
• Support supervisors in ensuring biosecurity, animal welfare, and safety standards are followed.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job support to operators and junior staff.
• Identify and report abnormalities in flock health, equipment, or operations.
• Ensure accurate recording of daily production and operational data.
• Support implementation of improvement actions and best practices at farm level.
