Job summary

BYD Indonesia is seeking an Automation Maintenance Technician to support PLC-based machinery and control systems. You will read ladder diagrams, troubleshoot electrical components, and master Omron CX-Programmer/Sysmac Studio.

You will measure with a multimeter and clamp meter, work with HMI basics and industrial networks, and collaborate with a small team. English is advanced; Chinese is preferred. 1–3 years in automated maintenance are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in automated maintenance.
• Able to read ladder diagrams and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Understand the basics of PLC and read ladder diagrams to troubleshoot control systems.
• Master electrical measurement with multimeter and clamp meter.
• Operate Omron CX-Programmer and Sysmac Studio; familiarity with other PLC brands is a plus.
• Understand HMI, industrial communications (Ethernet, Modbus, RS-485) and AC/DC voltages.
• Willing to work shifts, overtime, and standby maintenance as needed.
• Work carefully in a team and follow safety and health guidelines (K3).

Job description

Responsibilities：

• 1. Understands the basics of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and is able to read ladder diagrams, wiring diagrams and troubleshoot control and electrical systems.
• Master the use of electrical measuring instruments (multimeter and clamp meter).
• Mastery of Omron PLC (CX-Programmer/Sysmac Studio); experience with Mitsubishi, Siemens, Delta, Schneider or Keyence is an added value.
• Understands the basics of HMI, industrial communications (Ethernet, Modbus, RS-485) and industrial electrical systems (24 VDC, 220 VAC, 380 VAC).
• Minimum 1 year experience in the field of automated mechanical maintenance or industrial automation.Graduates are welcome to apply if they have PLC ability.
• Willing to work shifts, overtime, and standby maintenance as needed.
• Careful, disciplined, able to work in a team, good problem analysis skills, understanding of K3, physical and mental health, no color blindness.
