Job summary

Universal Eco Pasific is seeking a seasoned Plant Operations Manager to lead and supervise all plant activities, with a focus on hazardous waste (B3) management. You will ensure safe, compliant, and efficient reception, storage, processing, and shipment of wastes while driving productivity and cost control.

The ideal candidate holds a minimum S1 in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering, with at least 10 years in manufacturing and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum S1 degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing companies.
• Experience leading and managing plant operations.
• Strong leadership and teamwork capabilities.
• Understanding of production processes and hazardous waste (B3) management.
• Proficiency in planning, organizing, analytical thinking, and problem solving.
• Good communication skills including active English proficiency.
• Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all operational activities plant, particularly hazardous waste (B3) management.
• Ensure waste reception, inspection, weighing, storage, processing, utilization, and shipment per SOP and regulations.
• Control achievement of targets, productivity, processing capacity, and recovery yield.
• Ensure implementation of K3, SMK3, environmental protection, and licensing compliance.
• Manage manpower, shifts, productivity, and plant team performance.
• Ensure efficient use of raw materials, chemicals, energy, and other resources.
• Ensure readiness and reliability of machinery, facilities through preventive/corrective maintenance.
• Lead coordination with HSE, Warehouse, QC, Maintenance/Engineering, HR, Finance, Transport, and related departments.
• Manage plant operational budget and monitor cost realization.
• Serve as Plant PIC in audits, inspections, certifications, and examinations by customers/regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all operational activities Plant, particularly hazardous waste (B3) management
• Ensure waste reception, inspection, weighing, storage, processing, utilization, and shipment processes run according to SOP and applicable regulations
• Control achievement of operational targets, productivity, processing capacity, process efficiency, and recovery yield
• Ensure implementation of occupational health and safety (K3), occupational health and safety management system (SMK3), environmental protection, and compliance with licensing and regulations
• Manage manpower, task allocation, work schedules/shifts, productivity, and plant team performance
• Control efficient use of raw materials, chemicals, fuel, energy, and other resources
• Ensure readiness and reliability of machinery, vehicles, installations, utilities, and plant facilities through preventive and corrective maintenance
• Lead coordination with HSE, Warehouse, QC, Maintenance/Engineering, HR, Finance, Transport, and related departments
• Manage plant operational budget and monitor cost realization
• Serve as Plant PIC in audit activities, inspections, certifications, and examinations by customers and regulators
