Job summary

PetroSea is seeking a Senior Planner/Scheduler to plan and implement the project schedule and control work activities to meet client requirements and deadlines. The role focuses on developing schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion of the project while maintaining high equipment availability and safety standards.

The candidate should have 7–15 years of planning/scheduling experience, be proficient with Primavera P6, and apply best practices in project control.

Qualifications

• 7–15 years of planning/scheduler experience.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and reporting schedules.
• Knowledge of project control and scheduling best practices.
• Ability to design and calculate durations and establish procedures.
• Fluent in English is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor weekly and monthly planning, maintenance tasks, and long-term maintenance plans.
• Communicate maintenance work instructions clearly to subordinates.
• Prepare and submit timely reporting and ensure backlog parts orders.
• Review failures to plant, analyze trends, and feed backlog planning.
• Maintain SHE programs and ensure compliance with ISO standards.

Job description

Plan and Implement of Project Schedule Operational Development. Create, develop and control schedule of work activities for a Project which clearly shows the work breakdown structure, critical path activities, progress earned to date and programme to completion. Therefore the Project could be completed within the time as per planned and Client's requirement.

Responsible for compliance to weekly and monthly planning, including scheduled work orders, relating to all maintenance tasks set out daily / to help achieve long term maintenance plans and high equipment availability. Review and analyse Failures to plant by monitoring trends and report pending equipment failure for correct planning into backlog, advising immediately if equipment is unsafe to operate or high potential of major failure occurring. Failures are successfully corrected and prevented.

Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome - SHE risk well maintained

• Knowledge of Primavera Project Planner (P6) includes associated software and demonstrated competence in producing effectively formatted schedules and reports.
• Knowledge of best practices in project control and scheduling.
• Ability to design and calculate duration of a project.
• Ability to establish policies and procedures.
• Ability to evaluate program effectiveness.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written is an advantage
• Ability to develop and maintain effective monitoring and control mechanism.
