Job summary

PaxOcean Batam Yard is seeking a Project Planning professional to support tender queries and manage comprehensive project plans for new building, conversion, and ship repair initiatives.

You will monitor drawings, procurement, construction, and commissioning plans while coordinating with Project Managers, trades leads, and the commercial team. Strong English and shipyard planning experience are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in shipbuilding or ship repair.
• Experience in project planning, scheduling, and resource planning within a shipyard environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Good understanding of marine engineering terminology.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced shipyard environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Planning Manager on planning and scheduling for tender queries of New Building, Conversion, and Ship Repair projects daily.
• Prepare and record overall resource plan on the project execution.
• Monitor engineering drawings, procurement, construction, and commissioning plans to ensure progress is on track.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Trades lead, Commercial, Construction/Production on planning and scheduling.
• Raise planning or scheduling risks early and proactively collaborate with stakeholders to overcome.
• Follow Safety Rules and Regulations per OH&S and Environmental Policy by the yard.
• Assist Planning Manager on yard level planning and resource allocation.
• Prepare and record yard level resources plan.
• Raise risk of operational activity and collaborate with stakeholders to overcome.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulizing and Monitor comprehensive Project or Operational Plan of PaxOcean Batam Yard
• Assisting to develop planning and scheduling for all enquiries purpose of New Building, Conversion, and Ship Repair projects.

Responsibilities

(Project Planning Section)

• Assisting Planning Manager on the planning and scheduling on tender query of New Building, Conversion, and Ship Repair Project in daily basis,
• Prepare and recording overall resource plan on the project execution,
• Monitor all the engineering drawings, procurement/purchasing, construction, commissioning plans to ensure that the planned progress is implemented for his/her assigned project
• Work together and maintain proactive communication with Project Managers, Trades lead, Commercial section, Construction/Production, in matter of planning, scheduling and monitoring,
• To raise the planning or scheduling issue of risk of delays earliest as possible, and pro-actively collaborate with stakeholder to overcome,
• To follow the Safety Rules and Regulation set refer to Occupational Health & Safety Policy and Environmental Policy by the yard.

Key Requirements
