Job summary

Techconnect in Indonesia is hiring a Mine Operations Supervisor to lead and coordinate the support infrastructure within the Mine Plan Operation Department, ensuring design realization and completion timelines align with nickel ore and overburden targets.

The role requires 1–2 years in a similar field, with mining engineering education (S1) in Mining or Geology. POP/ISMKP training and a valid SIM A are required.

Qualifications

• Education as required: S1 in Mining Engineering or Geological Engineering.
• 1–2 years in a similar role; blasting engineer experience is a plus.
• Required training/certification: POP, ISMKP.
• Driving: valid SIM A, able to drive a light vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pit activities end-to-end from OB loading to disposal area and ore-hauling road to stockpile.
• Conduct inspections and field observations; prepare related reports.
• Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly work plans are executed properly.
• Monitor mine design formation and production achievement.
• Oversee rental units and prepare usage summaries.
• Supervise K3LH (OSH) compliance for subordinates/contractors.

Job description

Carry out the duties, responsibilities, and decision-making involved in supervising the work on supporting infrastructure within the Mine Plan Operation Department, so that design realization and work-completion timelines are achieved. This supports the company's nickel ore and overburden production targets in line with the given plan/targets, while upholding quality, cost-effectiveness, standard procedures, and good mining engineering regulations.

• Supervise pit activities end-to-end — from the OB loading point and ore-getting through to the disposal area, as well as the ore-hauling road to the stockpile and project operations.
• Conduct inspections and field observations, and prepare related reports.
• Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly work plans are carried out properly.
• Monitor and evaluate mine design formation and production achievement.
• Oversee rental units and prepare summary reports on their usage.
• Supervise and monitor Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (K3LH) compliance for subordinates/contractors under their responsibility.

• Education: S1 Mining Engineering or Geological Engineering (candidates with nickel mine-plan experience are also considered)
• Work Experience: 1-2 years in a similar role; prior experience as a blasting engineer is an advantage

• Driving Requirement: Able to drive a light vehicle (LV); must hold a valid SIM A
