Pengiklan Anonim is seeking a Mine Plan Engineer to develop and manage mine plans in a nickel mining context. You will design pits, sequence development, and create schedules to align with production targets and real site conditions.
You will analyze ore and waste data, assess stripping ratios and production quality, and collaborate with Mine Operation, Geology, Survey, and Production teams to ensure executable plans and continuous improvement.
This is a Mine Plan Engineer / Mine Planning position in the nickel mining industry, responsible for developing and managing mine plans based on production targets and actual site conditions. The role involves creating mine designs, pit development, sequencing, and scheduling while coordinating with multiple teams to ensure effective implementation of mining operations.
Develop and improve mine plans based on production targets and actual mining conditions
Create mine design, pit development, sequencing, and scheduling
Evaluate production achievements and provide recommendations for mine plan improvements
Coordinate with related teams to ensure mining plans can be implemented effectively
Analyze ore, waste, stripping ratio, and production quality data
Support achievement of production targets considering technical, safety, quality, and operational efficiency aspects
Prepare mine planning reports & analysis on a regular basis
Minimum S1 degree in Mining Engineering or related field
Minimum 3 years of work experience as Mine Plan Engineer / Mine Planning in the mining industry, preferably with nickel mining experience
Understanding of mine planning concepts and processes, pit optimization, mine scheduling, and production planning
Good understanding of open pit mine design and production planning
Ability to conduct mining data analysis and prepare short-term and long-term mine plans
Proficiency in mine planning software such as Micromine, Surpac, Minescape, Deswik, or similar software
Understanding of stripping ratio, ore recovery, dilution, fleet productivity, and other technical mining parameters
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate with Mine Operation, Geology, Survey, and Production teams
Willing to be placed at mining site
