Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Pharmacy required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in pharmacy.
• Proficiency with pharmacy technology including automated dispensing systems and electronic health records.
• High attention to detail for accurate medication preparation and documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks such as handling prescriptions and inventory efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Receive and handle complaints from patients/doctors/nurses related to inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services.
• Follow established policies and procedures for inpatient/outpatient pharmacy operations, escalating obstacles as needed.
• Ensure completeness of data and monthly pharmacy reports (drug stock, expiries, purchases, narcotics, returns).
• Monitor procurement, use, cleanliness, and maintenance of equipment in pharmacy units.
• Provide drug information education to staff and ensure accurate information dissemination.
• Monitor storage conditions including refrigerator and room temperature/humidity.
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives, data collection, and reporting to support hospital targets.
