Job summary

Siloam International Hospitals (Siloam) is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Outpatient Unit Lead in Cikarang to oversee operations, safety, and service quality in the hospital’s pharmacy.

You will supervise staff, manage drug procurement, ensure formulary adherence, counsel patients, handle complaints, and coordinate with medical teams to maintain continuous, high‑standard pharmaceutical care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in pharmacy operations.
• In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and patient counseling.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise the overall management and service components of the pharmacy outpatient unit.
• Coordinate all operational activities of the pharmaceutical outpatient unit, including administrative supervision and resource availability.
• Provide operational support in the pharmacy outpatient department to ensure continuity of service.
• Carry out the process of applying for new drugs and documentation to plan supply/procurement of drugs.
• Destroy drugs/narcotics that are damaged or expired to prevent misuse.
• Provide guidance and carry out staff development, including safety procedures and evaluations for competency.
• Ensure completeness of data and periodic reports from the pharmacy outpatient unit.
• Socialize and educate workers on new drugs and provide drug information services.
• Facilitate patient counseling to meet drug education needs.
• Receive and handle complaints related to outpatient pharmaceutical services and escalate as needed.
• Implement and supervise quality and safety procedures, including data collection and reporting.
