Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking an Area Sales Representative to grow our pharmaceutical business in Depok, West Java. You will build relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies, and drive achievement of sales targets.

The role requires a Pharmacy/Science/Business background, 3+ years in pharma sales, English and Bahasa Indonesia fluency, and willingness to travel across Depok. This is a hybrid position with local presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record in West Java.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales quotas.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and the pharmaceutical market.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the Depok area.
• Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Residing in or willingness to relocate to Depok, West Java, ID.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve territory sales objectives for pharmaceutical products.
• Identify and engage with healthcare professionals, hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies within the assigned Depok territory.
• Promote and educate clients on the benefits and features of our client's product portfolio.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key opinion leaders and decision-makers.
• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to the marketing and sales management teams.
• Attend industry conferences and events as required.
• Manage territory budget and expense reporting accurately.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and pharmaceutical industry regulations.
