Job summary

GoTo is seeking a Payment Compliance Manager for GoPay in Indonesia to lead regulatory engagement with Bank Indonesia and translate evolving rules into practical guidance for product, risk, and engineering teams. You will drive end-to-end compliance for strategic payment initiatives and ensure timely, well-supported regulatory decisions.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in regulatory compliance, affairs, or related function within payments/fintech.
• Strong knowledge of Bank Indonesia regulations governing payment systems and e-money.
• Experience engaging regulators, including regulatory consultations and examinations.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into clear guidance for product, risk and engineering teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory engagement with Bank Indonesia, including consultations, submissions, examinations, and follow-ups.
• Advise product, business, legal, risk and other stakeholders on regulatory implications of new products and initiatives.
• Drive end-to-end regulatory approvals and compliance assessments for strategic payments initiatives.
• Interpret evolving Bank Indonesia regulations and translate into practical guidance, controls and actions.
• Manage regulatory self-assessment, audit and remediation programs from findings to closure.
• Build cross-functional alignment and trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and Bank Indonesia.
