Job summary

VIVIZUBEDI by ISSA GROUP in Jakarta (Indonesia) seeks aPattern Designer to craft pattern designs, explore textures, and create production-ready patterns for textiles. The role involves making pattern masters and samples, and optimizing fabric layouts for efficient production.

Fresh graduates with strong portfolios are welcome, with 1–2 years’ experience preferred. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is required, and on-site collaboration with cross-functional teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or Textile Design is required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Pattern Designer or Textile Designer; fresh graduates with portfolio welcome.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for digital/manual pattern development.
• Strong understanding of color theory, composition, pattern repetition, scale, and textile design principles.
• Knowledge of textile materials, printing techniques, and production-ready patterns.
• Ability to create real-size pattern/dummy prints and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Explore new patterns, textures, and design trends to enrich pattern designs.
• Create pattern masters and samples according to design and size charts.
• Determine layout of pattern panels to optimize fabric consumption.
• Manage pattern revision and history processes.
• Produce real-size print dummies on paper reflecting actual size and details.

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Pattern Designer, Textile Designer, or in a similar role. Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio are welcome to apply.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, with the ability to develop designs using digital tools or manual drawing techniques.
• Strong understanding of color theory, composition, pattern repetition, scale, and textile design principles.
• Knowledge of textile materials, fabric characteristics, printing techniques, and the ability to create original, seamless, and production-ready patterns.
• Ability to create full-scale print samples (dummy prints) on paper, ensuring the printed dimensions accurately match the actual size of the designed patterns.
• Detail-oriented, creative, able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and willing to work on-site
