Job summary

PT Mega Perintis Tbk is seeking a textile design specialist to create motif designs (batik and prints) that meet briefs and product needs. You will develop motif variations, prepare production-ready files, and lay out motifs to satisfy marker requirements.

You will collaborate with Product Development and Production teams, research trends, and ensure color accuracy on fabric samples while translating design ideas into market-ready textiles.

Qualifications

• Design textile motifs (batik/prints) per briefs and product needs.
• Develop motif variations: repeat, placement and scale.
• Prepare production-ready design files in Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Lay out motifs to meet production marker requirements.
• Apply motifs to product mockups, considering cutting patterns.
• Research trends in motifs and colors to support innovation.
• Coordinate with Product Development and Production teams and ensure color accuracy on fabric samples.

• Create and develop textile motif designs, such as batik and prints, according to briefs and product needs
• Develop motif variations, including repeat patterns, placement, and scaling
• Prepare production-ready design files using Adobe Illustrator (AI) and Photoshop (PSD)
• Lay out motifs to meet production marker requirements
• Apply motifs to product mockups, taking cutting patterns and production techniques into account
• Research trends in motifs, colors, and visual references to support design innovation
• Coordinate with the Product Development and Production teams, handle design revisions, and ensure motif and color accuracy on fabric samples
