PT Bali Moda Busana is seeking an experienced Pattern Cutter to join our design team in Indonesia. This role focuses on developing high-quality garment patterns, supporting sample development, and collaborating closely with designers to translate concepts into production-ready patterns.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in pattern cutting, strong 2D and 3D draping skills, deep knowledge of garment construction, and the ability to guide samples through pre-production to final approval.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of solid experience as a Pattern Cutter in tailoring or fashion studios.
• Expertise in 2D pattern making and 3D draping.
• Experience in creative pattern cutting and garment development.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and sewing techniques.
• Ability to create complete pattern sets and provide technical guidance for sample making.
• Knowledge of various fabric types and their behavior in garment construction.
• Education in Fashion Design/Technology or Pattern Making, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient English for discussions with designers and technical teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and technical skills.
• Experience in women's luxury, resort wear, tailoring, or contemporary brands is a plus.

Responsabilités

• - Create and develop garment patterns using 2D pattern making and 3D draping.
• - Develop patterns for soft tailoring, dresses, and ready-to-wear garments.
• - Prepare complete pattern sets for sampling and pre-production stages.
• - Provide clear sewing and construction instructions for cutters and tailors during sample development.
• - Collaborate closely with designers to interpret design concepts and ensure accurate execution.
• - Review garment fit, construction, and functionality, making pattern adjustments as needed.
• - Modify and refine patterns based on design feedback until final approval is achieved.
• - Ensure patterns are production-ready and technically accurate.
• - Select and adapt pattern solutions according to fabric characteristics and garment construction requirements.
• - Maintain organized pattern documentation and development records.
