PT Bali Moda Busana is seeking an experienced Pattern Cutter to join our design team in Indonesia. This role focuses on developing high-quality garment patterns, supporting sample development, and collaborating closely with designers to translate concepts into production-ready patterns.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in pattern cutting, strong 2D and 3D draping skills, deep knowledge of garment construction, and the ability to guide samples through pre-production to final approval.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of solid experience as a Pattern Cutter in tailoring or fashion studios.
• Expertise in 2D pattern making and 3D draping.
• Experience in creative pattern cutting and garment development.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and sewing techniques.
• Ability to create complete pattern sets and provide technical guidance for sample making.
• Knowledge of various fabric types and their behavior in garment construction.
• Education in Fashion Design/Technology or Pattern Making, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient English for discussions with designers and technical teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and technical skills.
• Experience in women's luxury, resort wear, tailoring, or contemporary brands is a plus.

- Create and develop garment patterns using both 2D pattern making and 3D draping techniques.

- Develop patterns for soft tailoring, dresses, and ready-to-wear garments.

- Prepare complete pattern sets for sampling and pre-production stages.

- Provide clear sewing and construction instructions for cutters and tailors during sample development.

- Collaborate closely with designers to interpret design concepts and ensure accurate execution.

- Ability to create complete pattern sets and provide technical guidance for sample making.

- Good understanding of various fabric types and their behavior in garment construction.

- Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, Pattern Making education, professional certification, or equivalent practical experience.

- Able to communicate in English for discussions with designers and technical teams.

- Detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset, and strong technical skills.

- Experience in women's luxury, resort wear, tailoring, or contemporary fashion brands will be an advantage.
