Mandarin Oriental Jakarta invites passionate aspiring pastry professionals to join our Pastry team as Pastry Intern. Based at our Jakarta hotel, you will assist in preparing doughs, batters, fillings, decorations, and contribute to dessert presentation while upholding MO standards.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related field.
• Interest in pastry arts and guest dining experiences.
• Good command of English and strong organizational skills.
• Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist chefs in preparing doughs, batters, fillings, cakes, pralines, and decorations.
• Support plating and presentation of desserts to ensure consistency with MO standards.
• Keep pastry workstations clean and organized and monitor hygiene.
• Record pastry production sheets and assist with inventory and schedules.
• Support dessert menus and logistics for banquets or VIP events.
