Job summary

Sandvik AB seeks a local Workshop Worker at the LIP branch to process and distribute parts to internal customers. The role is full-time, Monday to Saturday, reporting to the Workshop Manager.

You will perform dispatch, inventory control, and data entry in Sandvik IT systems, while maintaining safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in warehouse environments, hold a forklift license, and are comfortable with shift work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of warehouse/stores experience in Heavy Mining or Equipment Manufacturing environment.
• Forklift license is essential.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to implement OH&S policies.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with management, suppliers and customers with respect to stores’ operations.
• Weighing or shipping or receiving or delivery officer incorporating also dispatcher functions;
• Receiving, receipting, pick, pack and dispatch of spare parts and materials
• Assist with inventory control;
• Prepare shipping documentation;
• Ensure parts are delivered to the correct department
• Enter detailed data entry in Sandvik IT systems
• Undertake discrepancy investigation and implement corrective actions
• Implement quality control techniques and procedures.
• General warehouse and workshop maintenance and housekeeping.
