Job summary

Lemonilo is seeking a Packaging Development Officer on a contract basis in Jakarta Barat. You will develop packaging solutions from concept to production, ensuring BPOM compliance, and alignment with the New Product Development timeline.

Collaborate with Product Development, Production, Quality, Regulatory, and Procurement to deliver packaging that meets functional and aesthetic requirements and supports fast-moving consumer goods launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Packaging or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Packaging Development or related role.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve packaging solutions based on product requirements and business needs.
• Create packaging dummies and prototypes to support product development.
• Review packaging designs for technical, functional, and aesthetic fit.
• Conduct packaging reviews and analysis to identify improvement opportunities.

Packaging Development Officer (Contract-based) - Jakarta Barat

As a Packaging Development Team, you will play an important role in developing and improving packaging solutions from concept to production. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging designs are functional, compliant with BPOM regulations, production-ready, and launched according to the NPD timeline.

What will you do?

Packaging Development

Develop and improve packaging solutions based on product requirements, functionality, quality, and business needs.

Create packaging dummies and prototypes to support product development and evaluation.

Review packaging designs to ensure they meet technical, functional, and aesthetic requirements.

Conduct packaging reviews and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.

NPD & Packaging Trial

Support and ensure packaging development activities are completed according to the New Product Development (NPD) timeline.

Conduct packaging trials at the factory to evaluate packaging performance and production feasibility.

Identify and troubleshoot packaging-related issues during trials and coordinate follow-up improvements.

Regulatory & Compliance

Review packaging content to ensure compliance with applicable BPOM regulations and company standards.

Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure packaging information is accurate and compliant before product launch.

Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with Product Development, Production, Quality, Regulatory, Procurement, and other relevant teams throughout the packaging development process.

Coordinate development activities and follow up on packaging-related issues to ensure smooth and timely execution.

What are we looking for?

Bachelor's degree (S1), preferably in Engineering, Packaging, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 1 year of experience in Packaging Development or a related role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.

Good communication and coordination skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Willing to conduct packaging trials and testing at the factory.

Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing is a plus.

Willing to be placed in West Jakarta.
