Job summary

Lemonilo is seeking a Packaging Development professional to drive packaging concepts from ideation to launch. You will collaborate with Product Development, Production, Quality, Regulatory, and Procurement to deliver compliant, production-ready packaging aligned with the NPD timeline.

Responsibilities include developing packaging solutions, creating prototypes, reviewing designs for technical and aesthetic requirements, and coordinating trials at the factory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Packaging, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Packaging Development or related role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willing to conduct packaging trials and testing at the factory.

• Support and ensure packaging development activities are completed according to the New Product Development (NPD) timeline.
• Conduct packaging trials at the factory to evaluate packaging performance and production feasibility.
• Identify and troubleshoot packaging-related issues during trials and coordinate follow-up improvements.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Production, Quality, Regulatory, Procurement, and other relevant teams throughout the packaging development process.

Job description

As a Packaging Development Team, you will play an important role in developing and improving packaging solutions from concept to production. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging designs are functional, compliant with BPOM regulations, production-ready, and launched according to the NPD timeline.

What will you do?

Packaging Development

• Develop and improve packaging solutions based on product requirements, functionality, quality, and business needs.
• Create packaging dummies and prototypes to support product development and evaluation.
• Review packaging designs to ensure they meet technical, functional, and aesthetic requirements.
• Conduct packaging reviews and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.

NPD & Packaging Trial

• Support and ensure packaging development activities are completed according to the New Product Development (NPD) timeline.
• Conduct packaging trials at the factory to evaluate packaging performance and production feasibility.
• Identify and troubleshoot packaging-related issues during trials and coordinate follow-up improvements.

Regulatory & Compliance

• Review packaging content to ensure compliance with applicable BPOM regulations and company standards.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure packaging information is accurate and compliant before product launch.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with Product Development, Production, Quality, Regulatory, Procurement, and other relevant teams throughout the packaging development process.
• Coordinate development activities and follow up on packaging-related issues to ensure smooth and timely execution.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree (S1), preferably in Engineering, Packaging, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Packaging Development or a related role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willing to conduct packaging trials and testing at the factory.
• Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing is a plus.
• Willing to be placed in West Jakarta.
