Facetology, a dynamic beauty brand, seeks a Packaging Development Manager in Indonesia to lead packaging strategy for skincare and cosmetics, from concept to mass production.

The role demands 5+ years in packaging development, strong material knowledge, supplier management, and leadership to drive cost optimization and sustainability across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Packaging Development, preferably in cosmetics, skincare, FMCG, or beauty industry.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end packaging development projects, from concept to mass production.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, structures, manufacturing processes, and packaging testing.
• Experience handling primary and secondary packaging, such as bottles, jars, tubes, pumps, airless packaging, cartons, and labels.
• Proven ability to manage suppliers, negotiate costs, and ensure packaging quality and timely delivery.
• Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
• Detail-oriented, innovative, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of innovative and functional packaging for skincare, cosmetic, and beauty products.
• Manage the end-to-end packaging development process, from concept, material selection, and design to testing and mass production.
• Identify and evaluate packaging materials, structures, and technologies to ensure product quality, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
• Collaborate with R&D, NPD, Marketing, Procurement, QA/QC, and suppliers to ensure packaging meets product requirements and launch timelines.
• Manage packaging suppliers, including supplier selection, cost negotiation, quality evaluation, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure packaging meets quality standards, product compatibility, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Drive packaging cost optimization, innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop the Packaging Development team to achieve project milestones and business objectives.
