Job summary

Altius Hospitals Puri Indah is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist specialized in C-arm fluoroscopy to support surgical teams. You will position the C-arm, maintain sterility, and help minimize radiation exposure while ensuring real-time imaging for complex procedures.

Ideal candidates hold recognized radiography credentials, a license, and hands-on experience with cardiovascular fluoroscopy, DSA, and mobile X-ray units, with strict adherence to ALARA principles.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program (Associate or Bachelor's degree).
• Valid state or national license to practice as a radiologic technologist.
• Coursework or clinical experience focused on cardiovascular anatomy, fluoroscopy, and sterile-field protocols.
• Proficiency with high-pressure fluoroscopy C-arms, digital subtraction angiography, and mobile X-ray units in the OT.
• Strict adherence to ALARA principles, utilizing lead aprons, thyroid shields, and dosimeters.
• Ability to scrub or circulate, handle sterile equipment trays, and assist cardiologists or surgeons during time-sensitive interventions.

Responsibilities

• Position the C-arm to give surgeons real-time visual guidance, maintain sterile field boundaries, and minimize radiation exposure for the surgical team.
• Operate specialized imaging systems and ensure optimal image quality during procedures.
• Advise on equipment/catheters and manage radiation safety protocols during high-dose procedures.

Job description

Mobile C-arm fluoroscopy units and portable X-ray machines.

Orthopedic fracture fixations, spinal surgeries, neurosurgeries, urology procedures, and cholangiograms.

Position the C-arm to give surgeons real-time visual guidance, maintain sterile field boundaries (draping equipment), and minimize radiation exposure for the surgical team

Specialized cardiac and vascular catheterization suites.

Fixed single-plane or biplane high-end fluoroscopy and digital angiography systems.

Coronary angiograms, angioplasty, stenting, pacemaker insertions, and electrophysiology studies.

Operate advanced imaging chains, optimize image quality for tiny blood vessels, advise on equipment/catheters, and manage rigorous radiation safety protocols during high-dose procedures.
