Job summary

PT Bureau Veritas Indonesia invites a Senior Welding Engineer to join our quality and certification operations in Indonesia. The role requires extensive hands-on experience in topside and subsea welding, and a formal engineering degree.

Candidates should hold IWE, CSWIP 3.1, NDT Level 2, familiarity with API/ASME codes, fluent English and German, and have 10+ years in production facilities.

Job description

• a) Bachelor degree in material or mechanical engineering


• b) Min 10 years working experience in area production facility (topside and subsea) welding.


• c) Fluent in English and conversational German - Other languages - desirable


• d) Certified IWE (International Welding Engineer)


• e) Experience with applicable codes and standards such as: API 1104, API 5L, ASME B 31.3, ASME B31.4, ASME B 31.8, ASME Section IX, ISO Standard and other codes and standards related to pipeline welding and installation.


• f) Holding CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent Welding Inspector certificate


• g) Certified NDT personal Level 2 for NDT method: RT, UT, MT/PT.


• h) Having experience working in ORF Facilities are preferable
