Job summary

Cahaya Jakarta, a leading labeling and packaging company in Indonesia, seeks an experienced Production & SCM leader to drive end-to-end manufacturing excellence from planning to delivery. You will bridge Production with PPIC and Warehouse, optimize schedules, and push lean initiatives to reduce costs while maintaining quality.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering/Operations and at least 7 years in manufacturing, including 2–3 in leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in manufacturing with 2–3 years in leadership.
• Experience in printing or packaging is advantageous.
• Strong end-to-end understanding of production and supply chain.
• Proven cross-functional leadership across ops teams.

• Hands-on Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements.
• Willing to be placed in Cikarang.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive end-to-end production and operational performance to achieve targets in output, quality, cost, and on-time delivery.
• Act as a key integrator between Production and Supply Chain (PPIC & Warehouse) to ensure seamless coordination and minimize disruptions.
• Collaborate with PPIC and Warehouse to ensure material availability aligns with production plans.
• Plan, control, and optimize production schedules based on demand forecasting and resource availability.
• Monitor and drive KPIs (efficiency, downtime, reject rate, cost, service level) and implement corrective actions.
• Lead manpower planning, team performance management, and shift operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Prepare and present operational performance reports and improvement initiatives to management.

Job Description

Lead and drive end-to-end production and operational performance to achieve targets in output, quality, cost, and on-time delivery

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field

Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role overseeing production and/or supply chain functions

Experience in printing or packaging industry is a strong advantage

Strong understanding of end-to-end production and supply chain processes (PPIC, Warehouse, Logistics)

Proven leadership in managing cross-functional operational teams

Strong analytical thinking with data-driven decision-making capability

Hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (Kaizen, waste reduction)

Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements and efficiency gains

Willing to be placed in Cikarang
