Job summary

BYD is expanding its auto finance and leasing operations in Indonesia. The role leads regional strategy, targets, and dealer deployment, while monitoring performance and aligning financing with new car launches.

Qualifications

• 10+ years auto finance industry experience
• Minimum 5 years in senior management or team leadership in Indonesian captive finance, leasing companies or banks
• Profound knowledge of auto retail finance, leasing and wholesale financing with solid financial analysis, portfolio monitoring and risk control
• Excellent high-level negotiation, resource integration and cross-team collaboration skills
• In-depth understanding of local auto finance regulatory requirements and market operation rules
• Strong leadership, multi-task management and ability to work independently in a fast-paced international environment

Key Responsibilities

Auto Finance Business Strategy

• Lead regional auto finance business operational strategy formulation, annual financial targets, business volume goals and dealer finance deployment, supervise full-cycle implementation, and deliver sustainable growth in finance penetration, contract volume and business coverage.
• Analyze local market demand, consumer financing habits and industry finance promotion strategies, iterate actionable business growth plans, and continuously improve the market adaptability and take-up rate of BYD’s retail finance and leasing products.
• Monitor real-time business portfolio performance, track core operational indicators including finance penetration rate, retail conversion rate, dealer finance activation rate and product popularity, conduct data-driven reviews, and deliver regular operational analysis and strategic adjustment reports to senior management.
• Align finance business rhythm with regional vehicle sales strategies, formulate phased finance promotion plans to support new car launch, seasonal sales campaigns and market share expansion.

Financial Product Promotion & Marketing Execution

• Take charge of auto finance product marketing and popularization, design localized product selling points, promotion mechanisms and customer-oriented finance packages suitable for The Indonesian market characteristics.
• Collaborate with local sales and marketing teams to launch finance-driven sales campaigns, integrate financial solutions into vehicle sales scenarios, and improve end-customer financing conversion and transaction efficiency.
• Organize product localization iteration based on front-line sales and dealer feedback, optimize product accessibility and user experience, and form differentiated financial product competitiveness.

Strategy, Market Intelligence & Compliance

• Track local auto finance market trends, competitor strategies and regulatory updates, providing critical insights for regional strategic decision-making.
• Take overall responsibility for local finance and leasing business compliance, ensuring full adherence to local supervision rules and group internal policies.
• Coordinate cross-border and group-level financing agreement implementation, resolving cross-departmental docking issues.
• Prepare strategic business cases and improvement proposals, and present key progress and plans to senior management.

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the core liaison between BYD HQ and local teams, ensuring unified and consistent implementation of group finance and leasing policies.
• Lead local auto finance team building, performance management and capability development to improve team overall execution and professionalism.
• Organize professional training for internal staff and dealers on finance products, business processes and digital tools.
• Conduct regular business visits to financial partners and dealers, maintain high-quality external cooperation resources, and complete other key tasks assigned by senior management.

• Candidates with experience in automotive finance/financing company related business, especially those with OJK business communication experience, and who simultaneously hold APPI certification and SPPI certificates, or possess OJK Fit & Proper (PKK) related experience/qualifications, will be given priority consideration.
