Job summary

Jobtailor in Indonesia is seeking an experienced hotel operations leader to drive revenue, optimize group bookings, and oversee multi-hotel performance.

You will coordinate with sales, vendors, and partners, maintain SOPs, and coach teams to deliver exceptional service while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality preferred.
• At least 3 years in hotel operations.
• At least 3 years managing multiple hotels as hotel manager.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Experience with PMS/HMS and POS software.
• Experience with Google Workspace (Sheets/Slides/Docs).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent planning, organizing and relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Optimize group revenue by coordinating with sales and partnerships.
• Maintain relationships with external stakeholders, vendors, partners, and locals.
• Collaborate with Market Validation to monitor demand and competitors, propose actions.
• Maximize upsell and cross-sell (add-ons, experiences, ancillary revenue).
• Work with Special Projects to explore new markets and affiliates.
• Monitor costs and propose actions to prevent leakage.
• Coordinate with local vendors to optimize costs.
• Maintain SOPs and service consistency.
• Reduce complaint ratio.
• Ensure preventive maintenance of assets.
• Plan manpower and shifts; provide structured coaching.
• Maintain discipline, productivity, and operational stability.
• Create weekly performance and progress reports.

Responsibilities

• Optimize revenue of group booking by collaborating with the sales & strategic partnership team to organize group booking from preparation, pre‑arrival, on‑arrival, and post‑arrival
• Maintain Relationships with External Stakeholders, including Vendor, Partner, and Locals
• Collaborate with the Market Validation team to monitor and analyze market demand, competitor set, customer insights, external factors of the Site and propose Preventive / Corrective action
• Maximize up‑selling & cross‑selling (add‑ons, experience, ancillary revenue)
• Collaborate with the Special Project team to create another source of revenue by engaging Affiliates and exploring new markets/channels
• Monitor, analyze, and propose initiatives to prevent operational cost leakage
• Coordinate with the local vendor to optimize cost
• Maintain service consistency and SOP
• Minimize complaint ratio
• Maintain assets by maximizing preventive maintenance rather than corrective maintenance
• Maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including the landlord, Partner, and local people in the surrounding area
• Ensure effective manpower planning and shift management
• Provide structured coaching to the team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a top university preferably from Hospitality background
• Min. 3 years of experience in hotel operation role
• Min. 3 years of experience in managing multiple hotels as hotel manager or equivalent role
• Fluent in English verbally and in writing
• Experienced with Property/Hotel Management System (PMS/HMS) and Point of Sales (POS) software
• Experienced with Google Workspace (G Sheets, Slides, Docs, etc)
