Job summary

PT SMART Tbk is seeking a seasoned Process Engineer focused on Continuous Improvement to lead CI activities at Refinery Marunda, Belawan, or Lubuk Gaung. You will engage units, sponsor CI initiatives, and train local teams to drive KPI improvements and strategic projects.

Applicants should bring 5+ years in process engineering or CI, with strong Lean Six Sigma knowledge to champion standardized improvements across multiple sites in Indonesia.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as Process Engineer or Continuous Improvement specialist.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Engage units on CI culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Spearhead CI-based problem solving and track benefits at each unit.
• Lead internal training for local teams on CI tools and methods.
• Support and facilitate CI activities across units to improve performance.
• Monitor progress, follow up on actions, and report KPI improvements.
• Run unit-scale CI projects and coach teams toward sustainable gains.
• Serve as the primary CI contact for each unit and coordinate with national teams.
• Work to reduce customer complaints, audit findings, and MR through CI actions.
• Lead regular CI events and pipeline improvements at national and unit levels.
