Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support a large-scale hyperscale data center project in Jakarta. You will oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems on site.

You will review drawings, coordinate with contractors and stakeholders, ensure safety and quality, and track progress to meet project timelines.

Experience in data centers and HVAC is preferred; strong communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in construction, engineering, or project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical construction activities on site.
• Review engineering drawings, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Monitor installation quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections and support issue resolution.
• Support HVAC, chilled water, pumps, piping, and cooling systems delivery.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Track project progress and provide regular updates.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage defects, punch lists, and close-out activities.
