Plus Group in Bandung is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, deploy, and support integrated automation solutions for manufacturing clients. You will work with PLCs, IoT sensors, and industrial cameras, deploying AI-based vision components to improve cycle times and reliability.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, prepare technical docs, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while traveling to client sites for deployments and handovers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with industrial automation (PLC programming, SCADA, sensors/actuators).
• Working knowledge of computer vision libraries (OpenCV, YOLO/Ultralytics, or similar).
• Experience with IoT protocols (MQTT, Modbus, OPC-UA).
• Comfortable with Python for integration scripting.
• Willing to travel for on-site deployment and commissioning.

Responsabilités

• Design, install, and commission automation systems integrating PLCs, IoT devices, sensors, and industrial cameras.
• Deploy and tune AI vision models (YOLO, OpenCV-based pipelines) for object/presence detection and cycle-time measurement.
• Integrate vision outputs with PLC/SCADA/MES and IoT platforms.
• Configure and troubleshoot industrial PCs, cameras, and edge computing hardware.
• Support field deployments and client handovers with documentation and training.
• Collaborate with clients to scope automation/CV use cases and convert them into working systems.
