Job summary

Halliburton in Indonesia is seeking a Commercial and Contracts Analyst to review tenders and contracts, assess risks, and support negotiations across upstream oil and gas projects. You will prepare clarifications, track obligations, and ensure timely contract execution with internal stakeholders.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 4–7 years in procurement/contract management for drilling services, with experience handling international contracts and complex terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• 4–7 years in procurement and contracts, preferably in upstream oil & gas.
• Experience handling drilling services contracts and tenders.
• Knowledge of oil & gas contractual terms and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, customer contracts, MSAs, POs, amendments and extensions.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation measures to management.
• Support tender team with clarifications and negotiations.
• Lead or support contract negotiations and reflect positions in final contracts.
• Prepare contract summaries, obligation registers and handover docs.
• Monitor obligations, milestones, notices, renewals and expiry dates.
• Advise internal stakeholders on rights, liabilities, and disputes.
