Job summary

PaxOcean in Batam is seeking an experienced maintenance technican to perform yard maintenance and support the development team in department activities. You will follow work instructions from foreman and supervise, ensuring the integrity of Floating Dock equipment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, assisting subcontractors during repairs, and coordinating shore power connections while upholding HSE and quality standards. English communication is required at a basic level.

Qualifications

• More than 10 years of Mechatronic control experience.
• Ability to communicate in simple English.
• Willingness to handle additional workload.
• Strong knowledge of electro components and power electronics.
• Understanding of mechanical basics.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all HSE and quality aspects are complied.
• Assist and solve department-related situations.
• Maintain Floating Dock equipment (Crane, Actuator, Generator, Pump, Motor, Winch, Lamp).
• Service equipment per schedule.
• Prepare stock items for Floating Dock Plant.
• Assist subcontractors during repairs, testing and commissioning.
• Document preventive maintenance plans and corrective actions.
• Monitor progress of deck repairs and side walls at Floating Dock.
• Communicate with Crew Vessel to connect shore power.
• Perform other assignments as required.
• Follow Safety Health & Environmental policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all HSE and quality aspects are complied.
• Assist and solve the situation related to department.
• Maintenance Equipment at Floating Dock (Crane, Actuator, Generator, Pump, Motor, Winch, Lamp).
• Service Equipment as per Schedule by Equipment.
• Preparing stock item for Floating Dock Plant.
• Assist with subcontractor while Repair process, Testing and Commissioning Equipment.
• Documentation of Preventive Maintenance Plan and Implementation Corrective Measure to Increase Effectiveness.
• Assist and Monitoring Progress Repairing Deck, Side Wall at Floating Dock.
• Assist and Communicate with Crew Vessel to connect Shore Power from Dock to Vessel.
• Other assignment from superior or which is assigned by the company.
• Following the Safety Rules and Regulation set refer to Occupational Health & Safety Policy and Environmental Policy by the yard.

Key Requirements

• Completed Primary education with more than 10 years of relevant experience for Mechatronic control.
• Initiative, self-motivation and willingness to accept additional workload.
• Able to speak and write simple English.
• Young, strong and good behavior.
• Knowledge of electro components, power electronic, mechanic control & mechanical.
• Understanding how to use multimeter or special tool for troubleshooting.
• Understanding of the principles of mechanical basic or advance
